Have you ever read something that left you with tears running down your face? Did you want to reach out and help the author of the heartbreaking words you just read? This happened to me today, and I wished I could help mend her broken heart. I know that love from above will be the perfect medicine and will do more than what I could possibly do as a mere human.
~I hope you enjoy today’s short poem~
I Cried For You
I cried for you
and your broken heart
I wanted to reach out
and offer you comfort
I know I can’t silence
the sadness in your soul
it hurts like hell
and won’t let you go
but don’t give up
I hope that you know
it won’t always hurt this bad
so be gentle with yourself
and try to take it slow
