I hope you enjoy today’s poem. It is a tribute to my dad, who passed away in 2006. He will always live on in my heart. 💚💚💚

My dad loved the ocean

In My Heart, Always

your memory still shines
in the background of my mind
as I think of your clear blue eyes,
and your sweet, obnoxious smile
.

I feel an emptiness that came to me
the day you were taken away
.

I really start to miss you during the holidays
.

I hope you are looking down on me with love
and that you know you are in my heart, always
