We Can Coexist

with many paths to choose from
sometimes it’s difficult to know the way
but if we listen to our hearts
our moral compass will never sway
if we focus on loving others
and treating people with respect
we can coexist with one another
knowing none of us are perfect

we were born into this world
not by choice, but by the Creator’s design
no matter what you have heard
we were meant to be alive
so never question your worth or wonder why you’re here
because you were not just born to die
your life has meaning
and you belong in this world
