Hello, My Poetry and Writing Friends!
Hello, my poetry and writing friends! How are you? I hope you are well! 🙂 Thank you so much for visiting my poetry and writing blog. Here, I share poems and an occasional personal story or thought.
Today’s poem is a love poem because I am deeply in love with my husband! Our anniversary is coming up on Tuesday, and it will be our sixth. I can’t believe it! We have been together for ten years and married for six. 🙂
My husband is a very kind, compassionate, and understanding person. He is patient with me and always knows the right words to say in any situation. I don’t know how he does it, but it’s probably because he is so amazing!

I Want More Of You~A Love Poem~~Poetry~~
I want more of you
I want you to hold me in your arms
just one-moment longer
I want to feel the energy radiating from your skin
and the magical butterflies you give me
I want your future to be mine
I will sit with you in silence, with tears, laughter and joy
any emotion you have, any secret, any insecurity
are all safe with me
you are my world, and no one else has ever affected me as you have
I love you with all of my heart
and I ache when you are away
I can’t wait to spend another moment with you
you make my day brighter when you tell me things will be OK
you encourage me
comfort me
motivate me
to be more than I ever thought I could be
you took care of me when I was so low I couldn’t see my way out
you stood by me through everything I put you through, even though it was all my fault
you endured the abuse of my family and somehow stuck it out
I am forever indebted to you, the love of my life, my husband and friend
I hope to spend many more years with you and will be with you until the end
If you don’t have someone special in your life, I don’t want you to give up hope! I found my husband when I wasn’t even looking, so I know it can happen for you too (If that is what you want in life).
