Hello, My Poetry and Writing Friends!
Hello, my poetry and writing friends! I hope you are well! How are you all doing? I’m just sitting here, drinking my coffee. I love my coffee. About a month ago, I switched the creamer I use from french vanilla to regular cream, and I like it a lot better. I hope to go back to drinking black coffee at some point.
My kids are watching the movie “Little Shop of Horrors”, and I am delighted they like it. They have watched the 1960 version as well as the 1986 version. That movie sure brings back memories of hanging out with my little friend in the fourth grade. I remember thinking it was the best movie I had ever seen at the time. It’s so silly, and I love it!
Today’s poem is about having one of “those days,” and I have been having a few of those lately! Thankfully I have already walked the dog, and it’s not too hot, so things are already looking up. Here we go with today’s poem.
Some Days I Just Don’t Care~~Poetry~~
Today is one of them
some
days
I
am
too
tired
to
think
or
care
about
most
anything
and
then
I
think
what’s
wrong
with
me
yet
then
again
I
turn
around
and
block
it
out
at
least
for
now
Sometimes the only thing we can do when things don’t seem to be going our way is to say a little prayer and keep going.
I know that things can change for the good just as fast as they can turn for the better, so I am hopeful.
